Women with Corona Virus give birth to healthy babies in China

veraseduzione.com – A woman with corona virus has given birth to a healthy baby weighing 3 kilograms in Heilongjiang Province, Northeast China.

Vice President at Harbin Hospital, Heilongjiang capital Na Hui said that the unnamed woman gave birth while pregnant for 38 weeks with temperatures reaching 37.3 degrees Celsius.

Reporting from the News Week page , the doctor performed a caesarean section on the woman, and babies born were tested to find out whether or not the corona virus was infected . They were quarantined, and assigned two medical teams to monitor the test.

The result, the China -run China News Service quoted the Harbin Municipal Health Commission statement that the baby had an Apgar score of 10 (a score of 7 and above was considered normal and healthy).

After several days of quarantine and medical observation, the baby and mother are now in stable condition.

The baby is healthy and handed over to the family

It was known, earlier, more precisely last week, a doctor in Wuhan city explained in detail how he helped deliver a baby at Wuhan Union Hospital.

The 27-year-old woman, identified as Xiaoyan, was thought to have been infected with the new corona virus when she was 37 weeks pregnant.

At that time, the doctor decided to give birth to the baby through cesarean section because he was not possible. At that time and until now, there was no cure available for this disease, which meant patients only needed to treat the symptoms until the virus passed.

Health workers are also worried that her pregnancy will overload her body when she is sick. The woman reportedly coughed throughout the operation and also had a fever. Deputy Director of obstetrics and gynecology at Wuhan Union Hospital Zhao Yin said he wore two protective suits, protective goggles, and face masks during the operation to prevent him from contracting 2019-nCoV.

“I can hardly see or hear anything. And I am wet with sweat,” Zhao said.

According to Reuters, the baby weighed 3.1 kilograms, and was rushed to the house to avoid contracting the virus in the hospital.

As was the case after that, the baby Xiaoyan was also quarantined, and after passing several medical tests, the baby was handed over by the hospital to healthy family members for evacuation.
